Firehouse Quilts
A wonderful group of caring volunteers that makes and donates small
snuggle quilts and fleece blankies to our local firehouses.
The firefighters give the quilts to children of all ages that
have been in a fire, car wreck, or other traumatic event. Receiving
these blankies and quilts help to calm them and take their
mind off of their problems for awhile. We make quilt tops,
iron & cut fabric, package kits, sew on FHQ quilt labels,
etc. We hope you can join us for a great time!
Dates: 3rd Thursday of each month Times: 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm Location: Recreation Center At Northridge, 8801 South Broadway
The group also meets the 1st Sunday of each month from 10:00 am -3:00 pm at Sew-ciety
